Who We Are

What We DON'T Collect

- Data from other apps or websites
- Biometric data
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the SocialScoreKeeper service
- To process your subscription payments
- To send important service notifications
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To ensure the safety and security of all users
We NEVER use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or data mining.
Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy extremely seriously:
- Children do not create accounts — every account belongs to an adult
- Parents have full control over their child's information
- We collect minimal information about children
- Parents can review and delete their child's data anytime
- We never directly communicate with children
- No behavioural advertising or tracking
Parents: You create and manage athlete profiles entirely through your account. Children do not have their own login or profile—SocialScoreKeeper is an app for adults to share their children's sports moments with family and friends.
Data Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Regular security audits
- Strict access controls for employees
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- Regular backups with encryption
- Incident response procedures
While no system is 100% secure, we use industry-standard practices to protect your data.
Your Rights and Controls
- Access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of your data — free of charge
- Control who can see your athlete's profiles
- Withdraw consent and object to processing — including analytics and marketing — at any time
- UK & EU: GDPR rights apply, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO)
- Canada & Québec: access, rectification, and withdrawal of consent under PIPEDA and Québec privacy law
- Mexico: ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition) — we respond within 20 business days and implement within 15
- US states: access, correction, deletion, portability, and non-discrimination — we never sell or share your data
To exercise any right, use the app settings or email our Privacy Officer at privacy@socialscorekeeper.com — the Privacy Officer handles every request, and exercising your rights never affects your service
Data Retention - Your Data is YOUR Data
• Active accounts: Your data stays as long as you're with us
• If your paid subscription expires, your account reverts to Free and content you created for yourself is hidden immediately. A 30-day clock starts on the expiry date — we'll send a reminder about a week before deletion, and reactivating any paid tier cancels the deletion entirely. After 30 days, self-created content is permanently deleted; content you contributed to other users' athletes stays with those athlete owners, and your account itself survives
• Want it gone now? Delete everything instantly from account settings
• Once deleted, it's gone forever. No recovery. The only legal exceptions: if you win a giveaway, we keep the winner record (name, prize, value, date) for 3 years for tax purposes, and we keep proof of your marketing-email choices as long as the law requires
We don't hold your memories hostage. Your data belongs to you, always.
International Users
• All user data is hosted on secure servers in the United States
• If you use SocialScoreKeeper from outside the U.S. — including the UK, EU, Canada, or Mexico — your information is transferred to and processed in the United States
• We protect those transfers with recognised legal safeguards: the UK-US Data Bridge / EU-US Data Privacy Framework where our providers are certified, and the UK IDTA or Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum otherwise — request a copy of the relevant safeguard anytime at privacy@socialscorekeeper.com
Changes to This Policy
We'll notify you of significant changes via:
- • In-app notifications
- • Email to your registered address
- • Prominent notice in the app
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy
